We work hea ily on career de elopments. In 2009, 20 o our managers ha e bene ited rom pro essional mobility. And we ha e not expected the crisis to train the employees o our actories to multi-purpose tasks! We und nearly 3 million hours o training per year, or, on a erage, 21 hours per employee. Work our agents on se eral positions allows to enrich the di ersity o their tasks. Do not always per orm the same actions is also essential in terms o health and sa ety are our priorities. Our goal is to reduce the accidents at work by 25 in 2010 and by 30 in 2011.
Are you looking or the same pro iles as be ore the crisis
Yes and no. In 2011, PSA will launch the irst hybrid model diesel. The emergence o hybrid or electric technologies and new energies requires skills that schools do not yet orm. This implies to choose rom pro iles o other sectors. But we are also looking or high school graduates, as the X, Supélec, the Ensa or the Estaca. We also use social networks like acebook. We are not yet on Twitter, but PSA 2.0 is on its way! Moreo er, in September, we ha e opened the doors o a SAP Uni ersity intramural piloted by about 30 executi es rom the directions o the group, with branches in China and Latin America. Another key issue is the eminization o our work orce. In rance, we use only 18 o women. We want to recruit more but engineering schools are not yet enough eminized. In the world, we ha e organized meetings between students and 13 women engineers in PSA 100 so that they communicate their passion or our business. inally, we do that engineers and managers who speak English, because e en based in élizy to design our ehicles, our employees are now in permanent interaction with Brazilian or Chinese counterparts.
The crisis has tarnished the image o the car. How do you con ince your recruits to pre er PSA to other industrial giants
We explain to young graduates that they create the car o tomorrow, one that will e ol e to new energies. The reduction o CO2 is a global issue, as the emergence o Asia, ultimately representing 75 o global growth. The re olution o the motor ehicle is in motion and our uture employees ha e a role to play. Do you also expand the wages
Wages are only one element o choice. Certainly, it is important to attract as to retain the teams.
